A Little History
In 2000, We Hear You 2, Inc. started with these two thoughts:
- Small and midsized businesses are the backbone of America, and
- That for far too long the 32 million deaf, hard of hearing and speech impaired people in America have been ignored.
We developed a system that allowed businesses to become much more accessible to the deaf community, but technology is always on the move and giant strides have been made in accessibility. We have always strived to bring businesses and people together with some of the Internet's most sophisticated and cutting edge technologies but now we wanted to expand that focus.
Today’s Focus
Today we have expanded our thoughts:
- Small and midsized businesses are still the backbone of America.
- Newspapers significantly underserve far too many smaller towns, communities, and neighborhoods, and
- Existing search engines deliver irrelevant results when wanting to shop, eat, play, or learn what’s going on in smaller communities.
This resulted in our starting a Shop Local First directory/ community information center we call Why2Central. It’s not national yet, but will be soon.
And we improved our business grade chat focus to provide your business with cutting edge technology that is as good as and far simpler to use than what the Big Guys have and at very affordable rates – and affordability is as important to us as it is to you.
Today’s customers are even more demanding about their customer experience whether it is online or actually in your store or office. Improving your accessibility to all of your customers gives you the advantage and opportunity to enhance their customer experience and convert them to loyal, repeat customers.
